Over the years I have started numerous collections. My pill box collection started when I received one as a gift. A perfect size to save and pack. I then decided to pick one up wherever I traveled. I always stopped at antique stores to look for another for my collection. There weren't a lot to choose from and in some places, I couldn't 'find any at all. Finding pill boxes was never a priority, and I didn't like to spend time combing dusty stores while on vacation. However, it was always fun to find one by happenstance.
There are about seven 7 countries represented here. I keep all the boxes in a tin that held buttons from another of my collections. As I've gotten older, I've eased up on collecting. No room, no interest, and no money to spare on unnecessary stuff! Except plants of course, but I've even cut back new ones as there isn't any more space left in my small garden.

Dang! How many pills do you take? LOL
As collections go, it's really kind of interesting. cool.
I'm with you, no more room or interest for collecting so much anymore. I am trying to force myself from looking at any more succulent plants! The way the stock market is going here, we may need to worry most about where to get some food if things don't turn around.
Cute little pill boxes...hey perfect size for a collection! Love the idea, and now when I go antiquing, you know I will be watching to see what I find!
There are a lot of pretty ones, but I think I would have to say my fav is the yellow rose! It looks like it might be a bit more modern (50's, or so). I love the modern look of 50's stuff, and I adore the color yellow!!!
Julie- The yellow rose box was the first and my favorite. It was a gift from a secert pal....
What an interesting collection you have - looks like you have a good selection of them, too :)
